After one year of chefs association membership with a minimal Culinary Arts Associate Degree, chefs qualify to take the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Pastry Chef Test. After two years of chefs association membership with a minimal Culinary Arts Associate Degree, chefs will qualify for the USCA Executive Chef Test, and after four years the USCA Master Chef Test. You will have the option to bypass the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Pastry Chef testing and start directly with the Executive Chef Testing, although you must pass the Executive Chef Testing prior to taking the Master Chef Testing.
